Improving student mental health with the support of close family and friends

About This App

This project was created for the Congressional App Challenge

After witnessing the umnet need for accessible mental health services, we decided an innovative solution needed to be created from scratch. We developed this app using advanced artificial intelligence technology on the backend and a sleek, user-centered design for the frontend. We won the Congressional App Challenge with this app and was presented in the U.S. Capitol during the House of Code event as a result. The team made front page of Santa Margarita Catholic High School's Eagle Eye newspaper and was mentioned by the Portola Pilot. The frontend of the app is coded in Swift and interacts with a backend Python server using Flask.
