About This App
The Problem
Splitting the bill has always been an issue when going out to eat with friends. Frustrated there weren't any easy-to-use solutions available for this problem, I got to work developing my own. Using this app, groups first scan a restaurant receipt, then select the items they ate or drank, and finally pay one person at the table back with built-in Venmo and CashApp integrations. The front end of the app is coded with Swift and interacts with a backend Python server using Flask.
